Our laboratory is dedicated to applying biochemical approaches and structural biology techniques to investigate the relationship between protein molecular conformations and their biochemical functions. Our goal is to elucidate the molecular principles underlying diverse biological phenomena and to translate these findings into practical applications in biotechnology. Our research focuses on key structures such as virulence factors from marine microorganisms and plant hormone transporters, particularly transmembrane proteins. By analyzing the design and function of these molecular machines, we aim to uncover their mechanistic insights and potential applications.
